About us

Grate Products, LLC is a manufacturing and distribution company that was established in 2006. Steve Andras and his team developed the GrateDrain sub floor drainage system after 30 years experience in the basement drainage industry.

For many years Steve looked for a drainage system that would allow him to control not only water but also moisture control in the basement. Most all drainage systems had an open flange along the wall (that allowed water to enter the drain if water came in thru the walls). Steve realizing that customers now use their basements for living space and wanted a drainage system that would promote a healthy home by controling the water and moisture in the basement.

Hence Grate Products was born to provide contractors with quality products and extensive training to enable them to help their customers create a healthy home.
